These RARE Antique Victorian earrings are the visually the equivalent of a just over one full 1 carat antique diamonds each. We just found more documentation on these beauties; Set in tested gold washed sterling silver the gemstone setting are clear with extremely brilliant prismatic sparkle even in the dimmest of light. Exquisite quality, old (Diamond-cut, with much fire and brilliance) faceted crystal gems literally look just like diamonds. We had to test them just to be sure because due to their pure radiance the look like real diamonds. Possibly due to the perfect style of the faceted cut. These are rock crystal gemstones and not paste. When inserted they look like rich mine-cut diamond-faceted studs. These are fabulous and you'll love to wear them day and night. The unique part is the way they enter the ear, they can not fall out. No backing needed. Simply insert and turn the earrings so the long part rests on the upper back part of the ear or straight down, which ever you prefer. Stunning and extremely Chic'. These timeless heirloom quality treasures will never go out of style. The pair are perfectly matched in size, rounded square-ish shape and color and this rare style is indicative of being early Victorian / late Georgian Circa. 1790 -1800. Measurements: Face of each fine earring are nearly 7MM in diameter, visually they are the equivalent in size of a one full 1 carat each.

Condition: Excellent condition; edges are in bright gold (tested) (brighter and shinier than our photos show as they have been polished since the photos have been taken); we can not see any edge wear or any chips on the stones. As you can see in our photos these beauties are easy to wear. Everyone here at our shop thought they were diamonds and took turns holding them up to their earrings just to marvel at their beauty, twice.
