Description
A recent arrival from France this fancy, intricately cut and vibrant heavy scent bottle. Featuring exquisite gilt paint on it's thick Red Cranberry Glass. Great condition considering it's extreme old age. Dating to the mid 1700's! It's glass is in beautiful bright condition. The flacon body's paint is in fabulous vibrant condition. Extremely lovely with nearly no gilt loss what so ever. The lid is dented a bit on one side and it's hinge is wobbly due to a makeshift hinge repair but it still closed securely and tightly. Only 2 very tiny flea bites. 1 on the very bottom underneath and 1 on the side. Nothing too distracting but we thought we should mention.Approx. in inches: 4 & 1/2 H x 1 & 1/4 WSuperb craftsmanship. No tiny stopper though it's rarity and age, and sheer beauty make up for it. At least we think so. The cap and mounting around the bottles opening is intricately and ornately detailed. What a find! Bright red with gilt paint that is is vibrant and bright as well.
