Rare Authentic Antique Georgian / Victorian Era Earrings!

Offered for sale is a truly RARE gorgeous pair of Antique Diamond earrings. Circa 1790 - 1830s.

This is a elegant pair of late 18th century antique Rock Crystal earrings. A beautiful and romantic sterling design. Typically cluster shape pendant drop. Sometimes earrings of this period can be small. However, these lovely earrings are substantial, as in not diminutive. Uniquely Latching in the front of the setting, these beauties would be comfortable and stylish enough to wear day and night. They are a larger than average in gemstones and each earrings is overflowing with (9 total) genuine antique cut Crystals [Not Paste] each. There are approx. 1.5+ carat total in 18 Cut Crystals! Dramatic and Gorgeous! We had a similar, smaller pair to we added to our store a a few months ago, but those SOLD within minutes of being added. The hand-cut gemstones are set in pinched collets giving the setting a rather ornate look with a Baroque look with or floral type forms. The center larger stones are of a rounded square shape. The flower clusters of silver set with early non-rose cuts however the entire back is covered in hand-crafted sterling silver with a small dome shape in the center cupping the larger center stones. The ear wires are of dainty Sterling Termed “French” wire. A very sturdy design. A characteristic Georgian form of diamond-shaped gemstones and silver fashioned with the backs backs of the earrings which do not have a gold wash. Stunning and ready to wear!

Measurements: Just over 7/8" of an inch (2.2 cm) in total length including ear wire with a width approx. 1/2" of an inch (2 cm) at the widest.

Condition: Very good; all gemstones are present, they are all intact, some varying shades of the stones; (please see photos and please ask questions before pending a sale).
