This exceptional and rare ring circa 1870-1890, is comprised of an elegantly carved Lava Cameo set in fine sterling silver. All beautifully hand carved in high relief the female putti cherub cameo is very small with stunning details from her tiny little nose, danity lips and adorable cheeks to the lovely cascading swirls of her beautiful hair. Absolutely stunning. The small elaborate quality of the mounting is amazing. Very old from Italy.

MEASUREMENTS: The Carved Face is only 10MM by 8.5MM - Small and extremely Detailed High relief.
