Gorgeous Romantic Authentic Antique Victorian 9CT / 9K Coral Pendant Dangle Drop Screw Back Earrings

The Victorian Era was from (1837-1901). However these lovely earrings date to circa late 1850s - 1900. As, 9CT gold markings began in the late 1850s. Coral was much in vogue during the latter part of the 19th century. It was during this period that jewelry was being created using many types of materials such as, 9CT gold. Screw-back earrings invented in the very late 19th century, came before clip backs which were not patented until around 1934. This screw-back style gave women the option of not having to pierce their ears in order to wear stylish earrings. These screw-back earrings each feature a working threaded screw-back mechanism that allow you to adjust the fit to adorn your lobes comfortably and perfectly. A woman with pierced ears can also enjoy wearing these stunning beauties.

A magnificent, elegant Scaccia Coral parure pair of teardrop earrings. Salmon coral beauties with sold 9CT yellow gold screw backs (tested and marked - Hallmarked "9CT") on the back of each finely crafted earring. Dainty small button shaped corals are securely adorned at the top of each. The ear-wires are original without any alterations in a yellow gold. In certain lighting there is a glowing rose gold hue. Elegantly sculpted separately and then mounted into the gold to form swaying pendants from each earring. Excellent condition and simply Exquisite! These are very beautiful dangle earrings. Gorgeous!
