Antique 19c. Moser Blue Art Glass Enamel Jewelry Ormolu Box / Sugar Casket. Stunning 19th century Moser sugar casket or jewelry box. Elaborately hand painted and decorated with raised enamel flowers. With gilt bronze mounts which are in proper working order. An exquisite example of authentic fine hand enameled art glass sugar caskets of the likes those created by Moser. A stunning shade of electric blue, with beveled corners and a beveled cut along it's edges. Extremely rare. Similar style caskets made by Moser can be found in numerous books such as, 'Moser Artistic Glass 2nd Edition' by Gary D. Baldwin. It illuminates and glows brilliantly in the dimmest of light! Ornate golden vines featuring detailed petaled flowers. Tiny leaves swirl elaborately along every side of this gorgeous box. Has a lock sadly without a key.
