A Rare Find! A Gorgeous original KARL PALDA hand-crafted Art Deco vanity or bon bon or cracker Tray Bowl Dish.What an elegant and unique shape! Cranberry red jewel red cut to clear. Just look at the complexity of the crystal's geometry! As if the gorgeous vibrant red pattern and clear crystal were not enough, light effortlessly dances brilliantly in out and about the stunning beveled red enamel decoration. Lovely style Art Deco style blooming rose flowers and unopened floral buds on flowering branches complete this fine composition.Glasswork in the style that was made in Haida (czech/ Nový Bor) using the technique of struck glass (Rotbeize). The red color was achieved by a process called, "Rotbeize" in which copper vitriolis applied on the surface and is burned in with a 3 step process. Meaning that this, of the finest color process, is the most brilliant than any other enamel technique. We need to mention the blemish to the enamel, not the actual glass, on the back left side near the very edge [see photos]. Though due to it's ornate beauty the mentioned blemish is barely noticeable as you can see.A stunningly long 9' in length x 3 & 1/2' in Depth.Circa 1920s - 1930s This example is extremely heavy and the centers of the flowers and the leaves are lavishly cut with a brilliant polish. Ultra CLEAN! In fabulous condition! An extremely Rare Czechoslovakia / Czech glass work of art! Simply Gorgeous!
