An Authentic Brilliant Victorian Era Ring! Rarest Gorgeous Fine Antique Georgian Victorian Miniature Micro Mosaic Ring c. 1801 - 1840 Rarest of the Rare MICRO-MOSAIC. A Lovely Extremely intricate tiny miniature Micro-Mosaic Floral Flower Ring. Italian designed and crafted micro-mosaic plaques were extremely popular during the turn of the 19th century. Labor-intensive works of art done is fine miniature were often exported to high end jewelry centers of Paris and London in an unmounted state and set into various style of jewellery. The micro mosaic tiles are mounted within a simple bezel. Accented with 2 delicate slim twisted rope design that sits high above an oval shaped top done in silver. Ornamented with silver beading and no engraving that we can see.

A pretty Victorian ring. Some parts tested as Sterling Silver even though this ring is Hallmarked "800" for silver.

Approx. Date: Circa & Origin: Circa early 1800s -1840s; MICRO-MOSAIC is Italian in origin.

Ring size: US 7 and can be sized by a jeweler.

Romantic shades of blue, white, yellow and earthy greens adorn the expertly hand-crafted tile leaves.

An Original Georgian Victorian period micro mosaic 800 silver one of a kind design. Gorgeous! Beaded detailing around the unique doubled ring shank. Adorable raised silver flowers adorn each side of the super small and spectacular 1/2 inch long by 5/16ths wide centerpiece. Condition: Excellent; Has a few small extremely tiny tiles missing (see photos). Keep in mind that the photos are HIGHLY ENLARGED, these little tiles are actually teeny tiny.

This piece is rarer and in a class of it's own. So RARE we have never seen anything like it in 30 years of collecting. A world rarity. A ring of this period, rarity and fine detail is considered to be much more valuable than larger tile micro-mosaic brooches, earrings or bracelets etc.
